Privacy

This site has no accounts and no sign-up. One thing here does process what you type, and this page explains it.

Who is responsible

tiagomorais.com is run by Tiago Morais, an independent developer based in Spain. Contact: tiago_morais@me.com. This page explains what happens to your data and your rights under the GDPR.

The tool demos

Each tool on this site can be run live. When you type something into one and run it, that text — and any context fields you filled in — is sent to Perplexity, who run the model that answers. They process it in the United States under their own terms.

A record of the run is then stored in a database: what you typed, what came back, which tool, which model, and how long it took. Nothing is attached to it — no account, no name, no IP address, no cookie, no identifier of any kind. It is kept so I can see which tools people actually try and where the answers are poor.

Please do not type anything confidential or personal into a demo — yours or anyone else’s. It is a public toy on a portfolio, not a private workspace.

What runs on the server, not elsewhere

The tools that search a document set compute their embeddings locally on this site’s own server. That part is not sent to anyone.

What stays on your device

Your theme and language choices, in your browser’s local storage — not cookies, and never sent anywhere. Clearing this site’s data removes them. There are no analytics, no trackers and no advertising on this site.

Who processes anything

Vercel (hosting), Supabase (the database, hosted in the EU) and Perplexity (the model behind the live demos). That is the whole list. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for marketing.

How long it is kept

Demo runs are kept while the site is up, because they are what tells me a tool is worth keeping. Since nothing identifies who made a run, they cannot be traced back to you.

Your rights

You have the right of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. In practice there is nothing here tied to you to exercise them against, but if you have a question, write to tiago_morais@me.com. You may also complain to the AEPD (www.aepd.es) or to the authority where you live.
